Compared to relatively newer programming languages, such as python, java, and node, old once such as C, Perl are used very frequently now as the newer once have more in-built data types, functions, have very simple syntax and require less code than older once. Though when it comes to speed, C runs at very low level of system, and so, is very fast. For this type of application, it is important that the programmer is using right function for the purpose.
